The River Forest Zoning Board of Appeals will hold public hearings as it considers adjustments to rules for development permits and short-term rentals at its next regular meeting at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the Community Room of River Forest Village Hall, 400 Park Ave.
The board will hold a public hearing on an amendment to the zoning code concerning rules and procedures for planned development permits.
The board will then hold another public hearing on amendments to the zoning code to add a definition for "short term rentals" and to prohibit short-term rentals in zoning districts R1, R2, R3, R4, C1, C2, C3, ORIC and PRI.
The board will vote on the amendments after each hearing.
