The Village Board of the Village of Brookfield was called to order on Monday, September 8, 2025, at 6:30 PM, in the Edward Barcal Hall 8820 Brookfield Avenue Brookfield, IL 60513, with the following members present:

8 MANAGERS REPORT
a) Village Manager Tim Wiberg reported on the BNSF bridge project that will cause a road closure on First Avenue, both northbound and southbound, between Ogden Avenue and 31st Street from September 15–22. The planned detours will route westbound traffic on 31st Street to Manheim Road, and westbound traffic from Ogden Avenue northbound on Manheim Road. To address public safety concerns, Village staff arranged access for southbound traffic from Waubansee Road out of South Hollywood. The Hollywood Avenue crossing will not be affected by the closure.
VM Wiberg also reported on the Congress Park Station improvement project, noting that the pedestrian tunnel will be closed for the next several weeks. Pedestrians and cyclists are advised to cross at the Maple Avenue crossing.
