Metra has announced plans to introduce a cafe car service and is inviting the public to provide feedback on this new initiative. The commuter rail agency is seeking input from riders as it considers implementing food and beverage options on select trains.
"Metra is excited to explore new ways to improve our customers' experience," the agency stated. "We encourage all riders to share their thoughts on what they would like to see in a cafe car."
The agency said that public input will play an important role in shaping the offerings and design of the proposed cafe car service.
