The Village of Western Springs Recreation Department will host its annual Halloween Hoopla event on Friday, October 24, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Recreation Center. The event offers families an evening of fall-themed activities.
Children attending can visit a pumpkin patch and select a pumpkin to paint and take home. Other planned activities include making Halloween crafts, trick-or-treating in Safety Village, visiting a balloon artist, and playing penny carnival games.
Fees for the event are set at $5 per child for residents and $8 per child for non-residents. Each registered child will receive one pie-sized pumpkin as part of their registration.
