Six police officers from Cicero have graduated from the Suburban Law Enforcement Academy, marking another step in the town’s efforts to strengthen its police force. The graduation ceremony took place at Medinah Shriner’s Hall in Addison on August 22, 2025.

Town President Larry Dominick recognized the graduates’ achievement, stating: “Our community is safer because of the dedication, hard work, and professionalism of our police officers. Congratulations to the six graduates on this important achievement — Cicero is proud of your service and commitment.”

Superintendent Tom Boyle, who attended the event, also commended the new officers. “These officers have completed rigorous training and are fully prepared to protect and serve the residents of Cicero. Their dedication is a testament to the growth and professionalism of our department.”

The officers completed a comprehensive training program covering community policing, public safety protocols, and operational fundamentals. This effort reflects ongoing investment in developing a well-trained police force and highlights Cicero’s commitment to maintaining public safety.

The latest graduation follows closely after seven other Cicero officers finished their training at the Cook County Sheriff’s Training Academy in Maywood just one day earlier. The consecutive graduations demonstrate continued focus by the Cicero Police Department on enhancing security for residents.
