Berwyn ranked 33rd safest mid-size city in America by Safewise

The City of Berwyn, Illinois has been ranked as the 33rd safest mid-size city in America by Safewise, a national security review platform. The ranking is part of Safewise's annual list, which uses FBI crime reporting statistics and data to determine the safest cities.

Mayor Robert J. Lovero attributed Berwyn's steady climb in the rankings to reductions in most major crime indexes and congratulated the Berwyn Police Department for their dedication to public safety. "We recognize this is only possible through the support and collaboration with Berwyn residents and we thank YOU, our community, for your invaluable partnership," stated Mayor Lovero.
