Active-duty members of the military and veterans are encouraged to take advantage of the Cook County Military and Veterans Discount Card Program. Authorized by the Cook County Board, this initiative is jointly administered by the Cook County Clerk and the Cook County Department of Veterans Affairs.
The program aims to create a network of businesses across Cook County that offer discounts to any veteran or active-duty military personnel with a county-issued ID card identifying them as eligible for these benefits.
For veterans or active-duty military personnel interested in applying for a discount card, additional information can be found on the official website. A list of participating businesses is also available online. Additionally, local businesses can register to join the discount card network through an online flyer.
