According to the report, the district expelled or suspended 78 students during the year. This equates to 15 percent of the 529 students enrolled.
Students were expelled for two incidents with violence that caused physical injury, four incidents with alcohol and tobacco, one incident witha dangerous weapon firearm,35 incidents with a dangerous weapon, other than a firearm.
The district reported that most in-school suspensions were given for unspecified reasons, of which there were 31. There were 24 incidents of dangerous weapon. For 43 incidents, students were suspended for one to two days.
Boy students received 58 suspensions, while 20 girls were suspended.
There were 78 elementary or middle school students suspended in 2021-22 school year.
The district reported that most out-of-school suspensions were given for dangerous weapon, of which there were 11. There were five incidents of unspecified reasons. For nine incidents, students were suspended for one to two days.
