The Village of Riverside is initiating a comprehensive Needs Assessment and Master Planning effort aimed at enhancing its park and recreation offerings. This initiative seeks to shape the future of public spaces and recreational activities to better align with the diverse needs and preferences of community members.

Central to this project is a survey designed to gather insights directly from residents. This statistically valid survey will serve as a foundational element in developing the Master Plan. By leveraging data-driven decision-making, the Village aims to reimagine parks, recreation programs, and facilities that reflect residents' desires and aspirations.

In addition to the survey, an online engagement website will be available for residents to provide further feedback and stay informed about the project. The BerryDunn consulting team will also facilitate focus groups, stakeholder meetings, and in-person engagement sessions.

"We would greatly appreciate if you could share your feedback on the Riverside Parks & Recreation programs, parks, playgrounds, and more via the Social Pinpoint site," stated village officials. "We look forward to the insight that will be provided via community responses."

Residents are encouraged to visit the Social Pinpoint site to submit their feedback.
