City of Northlake Finance & Rules Committee of the Whole met May 6

Mayor Sherwin called for the roll.

Alderman Patti made a motion to approve Aldermen Contreras and Urbina participating in the meeting via conference bridge; seconded by Alderman Johnson. Mayor Sherwin called for a voice vote. All were in favor. The motion carried.

The committee reviewed the minutes of the April 15, 2024 meeting. Alderman Patti made a motion to approve the minutes of the April 15, 2024 meeting; seconded by Alderman Sosa. Mayor Sherwin called for a voice vote. All were in favor. The minutes were approved.

Mayor Sherwin presented the Warrants and Vouchers. Alderman Patti made a motion to pay the Warrants and Vouchers; seconded by Alderman Sosa. Mayor Sherwin called for the roll. All were in favor. The motion carried.

Mayor Sherwin opened a discussion to approve Ordinance O-11-2024; An Ordinance Regulating Bingo and Amending Title 3 of the Northlake City Code. Alderman Patti made a motion to approve; seconded by Alderman Grochowski. Mayor Sherwin called for the roll. All were in favor. The motion carried.

Mayor Sherwin opened a discussion to approve the purchase of a 2024 F150 4x4 in the amount of $49,173.00 for Public Works. Alderman Straube made a motion to approve; seconded by Alderman Patti. Mayor Sherwin called for the roll. All were in favor. The motion carried.

There being no further business, Alderman Straube made a motion to adjourn; seconded by Alderman Patti. Mayor Sherwin called for a voice vote. All were in favor. The motion carried.
