New Illinois pesticide application rules for public rights-of-way

Town of Cicero residents are now subject to new state regulations concerning pesticide applications on public rights-of-way. These regulations, effective from January 1, 2025, come under Public Act 103-0976, known as The Pesticide Application on Rights-of-Way Notification Act. The act mandates enhanced notification procedures to ensure the community is informed about pesticide applications.
