II. CALL TO ORDER: President Pedersen called to order the Board of Trustees of the Village of Franklin Park in regular session at 7:00 p.m.
III. ROLL CALL; ESTABLISHMENT OF QUORUM

B. WATER AND SEWER/FLEET MAINTENANCE COMMITTEE (Ms. Avitia, Chair)
1. MS. AVITIA REPORTED 8 WATER MAIN BREAKS, 12 INCHES SANITARY SEWER AT FRANKLIN AVENUE AND ACORN STREET 100 INCHES OF SEWER WAS RELINED FROM MANHOLE TO MANHOLE
2. MS. AVITIA REPORTED 1 STREET DRAIN WAS INSPECTED AND CLEANED, 1 PRIVATE SEWER BACK UP, AND ALL LIFT STATIONS ARE RUNNING 24/7 WITH ONE ISSUE REPORTED
3. MS. AVITIA REPORTED THE CREEK HAS BEEN INSPECTED AND PULLED DEBRIS OUT IN TWO LOCATIONS
4. MS. AVITIA REPORTED 0.6 INCHES OF RAIN OVER THE PAST WEEKEND
C. POLICE AND FIRE COMMITTEE (Mr. Ruhl, Chair)
1. MR. RUHL STATED THAT HE DID NOT HAVE A REPORT FROM THE POLICE DEPARTMENT
2. MR. RUHL ANNOUNCED FIREFIGHTER/PARAMEDIC TOMMY THOMPSON WAS RECOGNIZED BY THE EMS COMMITTEE AS PARAMEDIC OF THE YEAR. HE WAS AWARDED FOR HIS HARD WORK, DEDICATION AND TEACHING OF NEW PARAMEDICS. HE WILL BE AWARDED MEDAL FROM DIVISION 20 CHIEFS
D. STREETS, ALLEYS AND FLEET MAINTENANCE (Mr. Ybarra, Chair)
1. MR. YBARRA REPORTED ON EQUIPMENT SERVICED FOR BROKEN WELD, BROKEN SPRINGS, AND AIR LEAKS, ALL PLOWS WERE SERVICED AND REPAIRS WERE MADE BY THE STREETS DIVISION FROM THE SNOW EVENTS
2. MR. YBARRA REPORTED 7 TONS OF COLD PATCH WERE USED FOR WATERMAIN BREAKS AND POTHOLE REPAIRS
3. MR. YBARRA REPORTED 3 SIGNS WERE INSTALLED, 1 SIGN REPAIRED AND 2 SIGNS REMOVED
4. MR. YBARRA REPORTED ALL GARBAGE CANS WERE EMPTIED TWICE, A LIGHT POLE WAS REPAIRED AT FRANKLIN AVENUE AND GUSTAV STREET AND 2 SNOW EVENTS
E. PROPERTY, PLANNING, ZONING, AND BUILDING COMMITTEE (Ms. Special, Chair)
1. MS. SPECIAL REPORTED 18 CONTRACTORS APPLIED FOR LICENSES, 36 BUILDING PERMITS, 7 ELECTRICAL PERMITS, 2 SIGN PERMITS, 1 DUMPSTER PERMIT, AND 1 FIRE PERMITS WERE APPLIED FOR A TOTAL OF 47 PERMITS. SHE ANNOUNCED 8 PROPERTY CLOSINGS FOR RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL, 1 NEW BUSINESS APPLIED FOR OCCUPANCY AND 0 NEW BUSINESSES WERE ISSUED OCCUPANCY CERTIFICATES
2. MS. SPECIAL REPORTED THE INTERACTIVE ZONING MAP HAS BEEN UPDATED TO REFLECT THE CURRENT ZONING ORDINANCE AND IS NOW AVAILABLE ON THE ZONING PAGE ON THE VILLAGE WEBSITE. THIS MAP IS A VALUABLE RESOURCE FOR DEVELOPERS, BROKERS, AND VILLAGE STAFF WHO ARE SEEKING ZONING INFORMATION ON PROPERTIES WITHIN FRANKLIN PARK
F. HUMAN RESOURCES, SUSTAINABLE PRACTICES AND SENIOR SERVICES COMMITTEE (Mr. Hagerstrom, Chair)

XIII. COMMENTS FROM THE CLERK:
Clerk Arellano briefly went over the Clerk’s yearly report for 2022,
761 passports were processed, 181 photos taken, over 14 voter registrations, 496 FOIA requests completed, 237 garage sale registrations, 303 notaries performed and 11 block parties approved

Mayor Pedersen thanked the entire village for continuing to move Franklin Park forward
