The Dominican University women's basketball team went on the road for their third straight game at Rockford University.

How it Happened:
-Dominican came out of the gate hot taking an 18-16 lead after one quarter behind their 43.7% shooting from the field.
-The Stars went cold though in the second only scoring 8 points and giving up 16 points. DU faced a 32-24 deficit.
-The second half was all Dominican with them winning the third quarter 18-17, and the fourth quarter 22-11.
-Dominican won the points in the paint comparison 28-26.
-The Stars turned the Regents over 14 times which led to 9 points.
-Dominican and Rockford played a tough against one another with 5 tied scores, and 7 lead changes throughout the game.
Shining Stars:
-Freshman Kameron Goodman led the team with 18 points and had 8 rebounds.
-Junior Heaven Knox finished with season high 16 points behind her 6-9 shooting from the field.
-Freshman Mariangely Velez grabbed 11 rebounds with 10 of them being on the defensive end.
-Fifth year student Dasia Norris had a good game off the bench scoring 9 points, collecting 6 rebounds, and dishing out 2 assists.
