Cronnolly and Alic Named to All-Region Team
The Dominican University men's soccer team had sophomores John Cronnolly and Dylan Alic named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Region Teams.
Cronnolly comes off a season where he led the NACC in goals and finished fourth in the nation for DIII. He was just one goal behind the top goal scorer in the country. The star forward was also named as the NACC offensive player of the year.
Cronnolly totaled 22 goals on 45 shots on goal. He also led the conference in game winning goals and was perfect on penalty kicks with 4 goals on 4 attempts. He was named to the All-Region second team.
Alic was the backbone of a defense that finished in second place in the NACC in fewest goals allowed. Alic served as the team captain as just a sophomore and was a vocal leader on the field. He was named to the NACC All-Conferece team and the All-Region third team.
