Stars Score 127 in Win
The Dominican University men's basketball team was back at home on Tuesday against the Panthers from Greenville University.
Results:
Dominican: 127
Greenville: 105
How it Happened:
-Both teams played an extremely fast paced game from start to finish.
-Dominican led 59-52 going into halftime, but both teams didn't step off the gas. The second half featured the Stars scoring 68 and Panthers scoring 53.
-The Stars shot an incredible 72.4% from the floor, but only 50% from the free throw line on 22 attempts.
-Greenville was able to turn Dominican over 28 times, but it was not enough to overcome the Stars.
Shining Stars:
-Junior Camron Scott lead the way for the stars with a perfect 12-12 night shooting from the floor.
-Junior Jacob Riedl finished with a triple double tonight having a stat line of 23 points 12 rebound and 12 assists.
-Six of the 11 Dominican players scored double digits tonight.
