Cross Country Competes at NCAA Midwest Regional

The Dominican University men's and women's cross country teams competed in the NCAA Midwest Regional on Saturday. This event concludes their fall season.

Results:
Men's: 32nd of 32
Women's: 22nd of 29

Shining Stars:
-Fifth-year Ashley MacLean led the way with a 63rd place finish.
-Senior Abby Hosek and junior Nyariak Alier also cracked into the top 150.
-Freshman Lane Leithead was the top qualifier for the men's team.

MacLean- 24:13.6 (63nd)
Hosek- 26:59.8 (137th)
Alier- 27:40.3 (149th)
Perez- 31:56.8 (185th)
Gallegos- 33:28.1 (193rd)
Strange-Owl- 35:05.2 (201st)
Reynoso-Munoz- 1:00:06.7 (204th)

Men's:
Leithead- 30:31.6 (188th)
Cawley- 30:38.3 (189th)
Gonzalez- 31:46.4 (204th)
Ocana- 34:26.5 (220th)
Avila- 38:23.8 (227th)
Guzman- 38:57.7 (228th)
Cabrera- 40:22.0 (229th)
