City of Northlake Youth Commission met Oct. 12.
Here are the minutes provided by the commission:
ATTENDANCE: Sheila Morgan, John Morgan Veronica Budzon
GUESTS: Francine Patti
Meeting was called to order at 4:30 by Chairman Morgan.
MINUTES OF THE September 14, 2022 meeting will be approved at the November meeting.
OLD BUSINESS:
Youth Commission is still looking for some new members. Committee is also looking for volunteers for Boofest. Darlene Sherwin, Aldermen Patti, Feldman and Urbina will be chaperoning the hayride.
NEW BUSINESS:
The committee discussed upcoming events. The Committee discussed boofest and decorating the haunted trail. The Committed decided to only use props for the trail due to lack of volunteers. Sheila will also make a few props for the trail. Perry's Pizza will donate pizza for the volunteers prior to decorating the trail. Halloween and Thanksgiving crats tonight starting at 5.
The meeting place and time has been submitted to City Hall.
Next meeting November 9, 2022 at City Hall.
John made a motion to adjourn the meeting; seconded by Veronica,
Meeting adjourned at 4:50.
Note: Crafts were a success.
There ware 38 children and 24 adults in attendance.
