The Dominican University women's volleyball team suffered a setback on Tuesday night as they fell 3-1 to Benedictine.
The Stars would drop the first two sets to the Eagles 25-20 and 25-17 before winning the third set 25-20. The Eagles would bounce back and shut the Stars out in the fourth set 25-16 and secure the victory.
Dominican was led by Vicky Krzyszkowskin and Ellery Shea with 9 kills a piece with Adeleen Dunker contributing 23 assists.
Benedictine would hold the Stars' hitting percentage to just .095 to go along with 11 blocks. The loss drops the Stars to 5-13 overall and 2-5 in NACC play.
The Stars return to action Friday night when they travel to Madison, Wisconsin to take on Edgewood College.
