The Dominican University men's soccer team cruised to a 4-0 victory over Lakeland University on Saturday.
The Stars had one of their best halves of the season in the first half with four unanswered goals. The scoring got started by Sophomore Ryan Gutierrez in the 18th minute off of an assist from Sophomore John Connolly. 17 minutes later Cronnolly scored his seventh goal of the season with an assist from Senior Juan Guzman. Cronnolly wasted no time scoring his eighth goal of the season in the 38th minute this time assisted by Junior Alex Espino. The first half scoring barrage was capped off by Senior Vicente Castro who scored his third goal of the season with a set up from Senior Robert Cruz.
Dominican would hold onto their four goal victory by shutting out Lakeland in the second half. The Stars have now won four games in a row and are 5-0-1 (2-0). They are back in action on Wednesday for another NACC road contest against Benedictine University at 7:00 p.m.
