April: Home prices in Garfield Ridge fell

The median sale price of a home sold in April in Garfield Ridge, a Chicago neighborhood, fell by $27,750 while total sales decreased by 86.1 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April, there were five homes sold, with a median sale price of $250,500 - a 10 percent decrease from the $278,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 36 homes sold in Garfield Ridge in April 2021.

The median sales tax in Garfield Ridge for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $3,577, approximately 1.4 percent of the median home sale price for April.
