Analysis: La Grange Park pays $4.70 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Lagrange Park Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 82.3 percent of the $1,038,080 the Lagrange Park Police Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $4.70 for every $1 from pension members, according to a West Cook News analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, La Grange Park contributed $853,918 to the fund, which saw a $9,015 decrease in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $181,495, or 17.5 percent, in 2018. Another $2,667 came from other unspecified sources.
