2019 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in zip code 60161?

There was one offender released on parole during 2019 that lives in Melrose Park zip code 60161, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by West Cook News.

The data shows that the released offender was Joseph Guardia. He was convicted of a property crime in 2019, when he was 25. He is now 26.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
