There were two offenders convicted of homicide released on parole near Illinois zip code 60104 during the second quarter, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by the West Cook News.

The data shows that a man and woman were released in 60104. The younger parolee was a 31-year-old woman sentenced in 2012. The other was a 48-year-old man sentenced in 2015.

The offender who was incarcerated the longest was Tanesha M. Woodson. She was convicted of homicide in 2012 when she was 24 years old. She is now 31.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
