1) CALL TO ORDER

TOWNSHIP BOARD MEETING MONDAY, OCTOBER 7, 2019

MINUTES

The Board of Town Trustees of the Town of Proviso met at the Office of the Township Clerk, 4565 Harrison Street, Hillside, IL 60162 on Monday, October 7, 2019.

2) ROLL CALL

Supervisor Corrigan called the meeting to order at 5:37 p.m. and on a roll call the following responded: Trustees Christopher, Herrell and Supervisor Corrigan. Also present were Clerk Williams, Assessor Zawaski, Attorney Durkin.

3) PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

Supervisor Corrigan led the board in the Pledge of Allegiance.

4) APPROV AL OF MINUTES

Trustee Herrell moved, seconded by Trustee Christopher that the Board of Trustees approve the minutes of the Township Board Meeting held on September 18, 2019. Roll Call Vote #1

Discussion: None

Ayes: Trustees Christopher, Herrell and Supervisor Corrigan. Nays: None

Absent: Trustees Thomas, Chavez

Motion carried

5) APPROV AL OF BILLS

Trustee Christopher moved, seconded by Trustee Herrell that the Board of Trustees approve payment of the bills submitted for September 16, 2019 – September 30, 2019 Roll Call Vote #2

Discussion: None

Ayes: Trustees Christopher, Herrell and Supervisor Corrigan. Nays: None

Absent: Trustees Thomas, Chavez

Motion carried

6) ATTORNEY’ REPORT

None

7) CLOSED SESSION

None

8) OLD BUSINESS

A. Supervisor’s Report – Warrants approved. GWA accountant presented audit.

B. Last Thursday Supervisor Corrigan had a discussion with State Representative Welch,

Illinois Tollway and Cook County Commissioner Shawn Morrison to provide $150,000 - $160,000 each to complete Westdale resurfacing. A Capital grant in the amount of $150,000 was also applied for by Representative Welch for Westdale Gardens. The Handyman report was presented.

Trustee Herrell moved, seconded by Trustee Christopher that the Board approve the payments of G. A. Warrants.

B. Trustee Christopher moved, seconded by Supervisor Corrigan that the Board of Trustees Approve a Motion to Amend the Minutes from April 17, 2019

C. Trustee Herrell moved, seconded by Trustee Christopher that the Board of Trustees Approve a Resolution Approving and Ratifying the Execution of a Grant Agreement with the State of Illinois Department of Public Health
