2018 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in zip code 60163?

There were seven offenders released on parole during 2018 that live near Illinois zip code 60163, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by West Cook News.

The data shows that the seven released offenders living in the Berkeley zip code were men. The median age of the parolees was 39. The youngest parolee was a 20-year-old man convicted of a property crime in 2015, and the oldest was a 57-year-old man convicted of a property crime in 2018.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Francisco Martinez. He was convicted of a sex crime in 2013, when he was 28 years old. He is now 35.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
