City of Northlake Community Events and Affairs Committee met May 14.
Here is the minutes provided by the committee:
The meeting was called to order at 6:32 pm
Present:
Kary & Diane Sampson, Tim Rail, Rick Chillemi, Pat Pionto
Absent;
Others Present:
Paul Straube, Nancy
Tim made a motion to approve the minutes from the April 2019 meeting, seconded by Rick. All in favor, the motion carried.
Old Business
Easter Eggstravaganza was a successful event. We plan on doing this next year also.
June 29th Northlake Days. We are proposing bingo starting at 4pm finishing by 5:30.
Joe Trevino will have a Taco Cart and Hot Dog Cart. He will set up by the same location as the band around 4pm (this will not cost the city any money, Joe will charge the patrons). He will also sell the above items at the car show the following day.
Music will start at 7pm and continue until 10pm. Diane is purchasing 4th of July paraphernalia to pass out at this event.
Diane will order our committee polo shirts to wear at our event.
NEW BUSINESS -
Chicago Dog Outing: Rick will purchase 20 tickets for the August 10th game.
Pat made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Kay. Meeting adjourned at 7:45 pm.
