The following actions were taken on May 16 in the House on House bill HR221 ("great lakes appreciation day"): "Added Co-Sponsor Rep. Mark Batinick" and "Resolution Adopted".

The bill, as it was introduced in the House by Rep. Robyn Gabel (D-18) on March 22, "declares September 7, 2019 as Great Lakes-St" and "lawrence Appreciation Day in Illinois," according to the General Assembly website.
