The campaign committee of state senator 8th district candidate Philip J Rock, Democratic Party of Oak Park, returned a $500 contribution from Geraldine A. Delaney on July 17, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Delaney has not made any other contributions to Philip J Rock in the past 12 months.
