AMITA Health Medical Group is proud to announce that Sunny Sharma, MD, a board-certified internist has joined the Carol Stream AMITA Health Medical Group practice.
Dr. Sharma received his medical degree from the Windsor University School of Medicine, Cayon, Saint Mary Cayon, Saint Kitts and Nevis and completed his residency at West Suburban Hospital Medical Center, Oak Park, IL. Dr. Sharma has clinical interests in preventive medicine, weight loss/weight management, complex chronic conditions as well as sports medicine. Dr. Sharma believes the key to treating disease is to prevent it altogether. He does so by fully explaining the importance of preventive care to his patients and taking the time to ensure his patients fully understand their care plan.
