State Senate race: Democrat Link wins voter tally in Cook County

Terry Link led Republican Soojae Lee in votes cast in Cook County for the District 30 state Senate race, according to the latest vote count.

Link appeared to outpace Lee by a margin of 30.5 percent on Tuesday in the county.

In comparison, the 2014 winner, Democrat Terry Link, won by a margin of 17 percent in that jurisdiction, beating Republican Don Wilson, who received 1,085 votes to Link's 1,528.
