The River Forest Public Library Board of Trustees discussed the search for a new library director, as well as a full-time librarian at a recent meeting.
Two internal candidates currently are in the mix for the librarian position.
The board also discussed plans to purchase a new server, which is expected to cost approximately $10,000, as well as a recommendation to upgrade the library's public-use computers.
The need for a new copy machine also was discussed.
