The Hillside School District No. 93 board is scheduled to vote on a five-year strategic plan at its next meeting 7:30 p.m. today at the district's offices, 4804 Harrison St.
The plan's two goals are to modernize teaching and programming, and create learning opportunities and teaching tools that encourage a healthy school culture.
The board also will set this year's graduation date, approve the 2016-17 school calendar, discuss the employment of an auditor and consider adding a two-year-term board member position to the April 2017 ballot.
