Later that same day, the Oak Park Police Department announced plans to commemorate a fallen officer. In a post dated November 18, 2025, they wrote: "The Oak Park Police Department will mark the one-year anniversary of the tragic death of Det. Allan Reddins by holding a memorial ceremony on Saturday, Nov. 29 in the Village Hall courtyard. Attendees are asked to arrive at 9:45 a.m. with the ceremony starting promptly at 10:10 https://t.co/6VrZzxfr1s".
