Proviso Township Board met Oct. 15
Here are the minutes provided by the board:
1. CALL TO ORDER
The Board of Township Trustees of the Township of Proviso met at the Office of the Township Clerk, 4565 Harrison Street, Hillside, IL 60162, on Wednesday, October 15, 2025.
2. ROLL CALL
Supervisor Corrigan called the meeting to order at 5:35 p.m. and on a roll call
The following responded present: Trustees Olson, Christopher, Chavez, Chase, and Supervisor Corrigan. Also present were Attorney Michael K. Durkin, Clerk Tony Williams, and Assessor Steve Zawaski.
3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Supervisor Corrigan led the board in the Pledge of Allegiance.
4. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Trustee Chavez moved, seconded by Trustee Christopher, that the Board of Trustees approve the minutes of the Township Board Meeting held on October 6, 2025.

5. APPROVAL OF BILLS
Trustee Chase moved, seconded by Trustee Olson, that the Board of Trustees approve payment of the bills submitted for October 1, 2025 – October 15, 2025.

6. ATTORNEY’S REPORT
Discussed closed meeting minutes.

8. OLD BUSINESS
A. Supervisor’s Report – Staff put together the Supervisor’s Annual Report for 2024.
Springfield Report Read. The lights were installed in back parking lot, brick work was done, and columns were fixed at the Hillside location. Lettering on the Bellwood building will be installed soon.
B. Clerk’s Report – None
C. Trustee’s Report – None
D. Elected Officials Report – Assessor Steve Zawaski stated Taxes are scheduled for November 1, 2025.
E. Staff Report – None
9. NEW BUSINESS
A. Consideration to approve specific personnel matters requiring board action.
10. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
None
11. ADJOURNMENT
Trustee Chase moved, seconded by Trustee Chavez, that the Board of Trustees adjourn the meeting at 5:42 p.m.
