The Village of Western Springs will start its annual Leaf Pickup Program on Monday, October 20. The program is scheduled to continue through the week of December 1. Residents are asked not to place leaves at the curb before Saturday, October 18.
According to village officials, an orange postcard with more information about the program will be sent to residents in advance. "Those residents impacted by roadway construction will be notified of any changes. Timber Trails not included in the Leaf Program," a statement from the village reads.
Residents who live in areas affected by roadwork should expect direct communication regarding any modifications to the leaf pickup schedule. The Timber Trails neighborhood is excluded from this year's program.
