A mobile DMV event is scheduled to take place at the Grand Avenue Community Center on Thursday, October 2, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is sponsored by Illinois Secretary of State Alexi Giannoulias and Senator Suzy Glowiak Hilton.
Individuals who wish to use the services must make an appointment by calling Senator Glowiak Hilton's office at 630-785-3177.
The mobile DMV will offer several services, including driver's license and state ID cards for first-time applicants, renewals, duplicates, and corrections. Standard and REAL IDs will be available, along with vehicle registrations and license plate stickers.
It is important to note that written and road tests will not be provided during this mobile DMV event.
