Due to ongoing construction on the 3700 block of Grand Boulevard, the route for this year's Brookfield July 4 Parade has been altered. This change will affect access and parking for properties along and near the parade route.

Washington Avenue between Maple Avenue and Arden Avenue, as well as Arden Avenue between Washington Avenue and Brookfield Avenue, will be closed to all traffic from 9 a.m. to noon on Friday, July 4. During this time, these roads will be inaccessible due to the parade.

Additionally, parking on Arden Avenue between Washington Avenue and Brookfield Avenue will be prohibited from 5 p.m. on Thursday, July 3 until noon on Friday, July 4. Parking will resume once the parade concludes.

Residents living in the 3400 and 3500 blocks of Park Avenue, Oak Avenue, Sunnyside Avenue, Vernon Avenue, Prairie Avenue, and Forest Avenue should note that they will not have access or be able to cross Washington Avenue during the closure period from 9 a.m. to noon on July 4.

This temporary closure may impact residents on one-way streets. Those needing to leave their homes during this time are advised to park where they can easily exit the area.
