On Saturday, April 19, Oak Park And River Forest High School standouts, including Cole Benson, competed in an NCAA Division III baseball game for Illinois Wesleyan Titans

On Saturday, April 19, five former Oak Park And River Forest High School standouts, including Cole Benson, Cole Shamhart, Jack Flagg, John Philip Ferraro and Patrick Carmody’s current college team, the Illinois Wesleyan Titans, won 11-8 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Wheaton Thunder.

The game took place at Lee Pfund Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Thunder this season.

The Titans’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 22 at 5 p.m. at Horenberger Field against Millikin Big Blue.
