On Tuesday, April 29, five former Oak Park And River Forest High School standouts, including Cole Benson, Cole Shamhart, Jack Flagg, John Philip Ferraro and Patrick Carmody’s current college team, the Illinois Wesleyan Titans, won 9-8 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Blackburn Beavers.

The game took place at Horenberger Field. This was their first matchup against the Beavers this season.

The Titans’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 30 at 5 p.m. at Frame Park against Carroll Pioneers.
