Cole Benson, alongside four other former Oak Park And River Forest High School standouts, played on Friday, April 18 in NCAA Division III baseball game for Illinois Wesleyan Titans

On Friday, April 18, five former Oak Park And River Forest High School standouts, including Cole Benson, Cole Shamhart, Jack Flagg, John Philip Ferraro and Patrick Carmody’s current college team, the Illinois Wesleyan Titans, won 14-13 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Wheaton Thunder.

The game took place at Horenberger Field. This was their first matchup against the Thunder this season.

The Titans’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 19 at 1 p.m. at Lee Pfund Stadium against Wheaton Thunder.
