Western Springs residents are reminded of the approaching deadline to purchase vehicle stickers and pet licenses. The Village Hall will have extended hours on Saturday, April 26, from 8:30 a.m. to noon, and Monday, April 28, from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., for those wishing to buy their stickers in person.

All motorized vehicles registered or housed in Western Springs must display a current vehicle sticker by Wednesday, April 30, 2025, to avoid incurring a $50 late fee. The Secretary of State’s office provides the necessary vehicle information for this process. Renewal notices were sent out in mid-March; residents who did not receive theirs should contact or visit Village Hall.

Residents are encouraged to purchase stickers online after receiving their vehicle information via mail. Alternatively, they can fill out PDF forms available online for both vehicle stickers and pet licenses and submit them with payment at Village Hall or use the drop box located at 740 Hillgrove Avenue.

For any inquiries or assistance required during this process, residents may call Village Hall at 708-246-1800.

Failure to display a current vehicle sticker could result in ticketing by the Police Department. License fees remain unchanged since November 2019: automobiles cost $50*, dog or cat licenses are $10, recreational vehicles are $55*, motorcycles/mopeds are $50*, and trucks cost $65*.

New residents or those with new vehicles should refrain from purchasing stickers online after May 1 due to automatic late fee charges; instead, they should print and mail the form with payment or directly contact Village Hall.

Per Ordinance 19-2972 effective November 2019, any vehicle license stickers purchased on or after May 1 will be considered delinquent. A penalty of $50 will apply across all types of vehicles including automobiles, recreational vehicles/motorcycles/trucks. Thus, a delinquent automobile license sticker would total $100.
