Jesús "Chuy" García, a U.S. Congressman representing Illinois’ 4th district, recently shared his thoughts on various issues through a series of tweets. García has been in Congress since 2019, succeeding Luis Gutiérrez, and has previously served in the Illinois Senate and the Cook County Board of Commissioners.

On March 13, 2025, García expressed his condolences regarding the death of a fellow congressman. He posted "My statement on the passing of Rep. Raúl M. Grijalva: https://t.co/FzajGDonhR".

The following day, March 14, 2025, García criticized Senate Democrats who supported a particular bill. He stated "Senate Dems who vote for this bill are betraying children, working families, seniors, veterans, & immigrants. Our constituents demand real leadership–not complicity in Trump & Musk’s destruction of our country. Dems can’t hand the oligarchs a blank check & the keys to Congress!".

On March 15, 2025, García congratulated NHS Chicago on its milestone anniversary via Twitter: "Congratulations to @NHSChicago for 50 years of creating opportunities for people to live in affordable homes, improve their lives, and strengthen their neighborhoods."
