The National Weather Service has issued a warning for severe weather expected tonight. The area is currently under a Level 3 threat level. The primary concern is damaging winds strong enough to bring down trees, though there is also the possibility of tornadoes.
Residents are advised to have multiple ways to receive warnings throughout the night, including methods that can alert them while asleep. High winds are anticipated to persist through most of Saturday.
"Stay informed, be prepared, and stay safe," cautions the National Weather Service.
