The Illinois Tollway has announced a series of nighttime lane closures on southbound I-294, scheduled to begin the week of March 3. These closures will occur between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m., lasting up to five nights. Traffic in this area, spanning from St. Charles Road to the Hinsdale Oasis, may be reduced to a single lane during these times.
Additionally, there will be necessary closures and detours for several ramps to facilitate southbound traffic shifts between St. Charles Road and the Cermak Toll Plaza. This includes ramps connecting eastbound I-290 to southbound I-294, westbound I-88, and the ramp linking southbound I-294 to eastbound I-290.
