The National Weather Service has issued a forecast for a significant winter storm expected to impact the area on Wednesday. Residents are advised to take precautions and follow specific guidelines to ensure safety and efficiency during the storm.

Authorities have provided several reminders for residents:

"Put LRS carts to the curb early, as collection will start earlier than usual tomorrow. It's important to place the carts off the street and back from the curb, to allow plows to pass."

Additionally, parking regulations will be enforced: "Do not park on Village streets after 2+ inches of snow, and for 12 hours following a significant snowfall."

Travelers are urged to exercise caution: "Be cautious if you have to go out during the heavy snow. Allow extra time, and check the travel forecast before you head out."

Residents who can assist with post-storm cleanup are encouraged: "If you're able to, please clear snow from fire hydrants, walkways, and sidewalks, once the storm has passed."

Authorities emphasize these measures are essential for community safety during severe weather conditions.

Stay safe!
