The Parkway Tree Replacement Program is offering residents the opportunity to replace or add a parkway tree with shared costs between property owners and the Village. The program requires residents to cover approximately 25% of the cost, amounting to $80.00, while the Village contributes 75%, or $270.00. This fee includes expenses for the tree, shipping, and planting, which will take place in spring.

Priority is given to those who have recently had a tree removed from their parkway. Requests are processed on a first-come, first-served basis until supplies run out. Submitting a form does not guarantee a tree will be planted. Residents who missed out on receiving a tree in the fall due to limited stock should reapply for consideration in the spring.

Further details about the program and available species can be found by visiting wsprings.com/parkwaytreeprogram.
