Brookfield's Parks and Recreation Foundation is set to host a fundraising event on March 7 at Joe’s Saloon. The gathering will take place in the newly renovated event space, beginning at 7 p.m.
The event aims to celebrate the achievements of the past year and outline future growth plans for the foundation. Attendees can enjoy complimentary drinks, snacks, prize opportunities, and an evening of Yacht Rock music while supporting community initiatives in Brookfield.
Tickets include entry, two complimentary drink tickets, light bites, and chances to win prizes. Prices will rise to $40 per ticket at the door.
For those unable to attend, donations are encouraged. The foundation focuses on raising funds to lower fees for local families, allowing broader access to parks programming throughout the year. Eligible families may receive discounts of up to 50% based on income level for various programs such as before- and after-school care, summer camps, sports, art classes, cooking sessions, and other activities.
