Brookfield Public Works is addressing three water main breaks on the south end of the village. The affected areas include the 4600 block of Prairie Avenue near 47th Street, Ehlert Park near Congress Park and Vernon Avenues, and the 4100 block of Prairie Avenue.
Residents in these areas have been informed about the situation. Water service will be temporarily interrupted during repair work until it is completed.
"We will continue to post updates as more information becomes available," stated Brookfield Public Works. They added, "We appreciate your patience!"
