The Village is commemorating the life and service of Oak Park Police Detective Allan Reddins, who lost his life in the line of duty on November 29. The funeral service for Detective Reddins is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 12, at Apostolic Church of God located at 6320 S. Dorchester Ave. in Chicago's Woodlawn neighborhood. The ceremony will also be available via live stream.

For those seeking more information or wishing to support the Reddins family, details can be found at www.oak-park.us/reddins.

In honor of Detective Reddins, many services at Village Hall will not be available this Thursday as a significant number of employees will attend the funeral services.
