The Cicero Police Department has announced a donation from ExxonMobil to support the annual Shop with a Cop event. The event is scheduled for Saturday, December 21, at Walmart on South Cicero Avenue.
Superintendent of Police Thomas Boyle expressed gratitude for the partnership with ExxonMobil. He stated, “We are incredibly thankful for this meaningful contribution, which will make a significant impact on the lives of local children and families. Events like Shop with a Cop help foster positive relationships between law enforcement and our community, and ExxonMobil’s ongoing support ensures we can continue this tradition. Jason Christen of ExxonMobil and Guy Lambesis of Walmart have been longtime sponsors of our Town’s ‘Shop with a Cop’ program.”
The Shop with a Cop initiative pairs police officers with children for holiday shopping to spread joy and strengthen community bonds. The donation from ExxonMobil will benefit local families by allowing them to celebrate the season.
